Step 1

To backup Exchange server, go to Start and select Programs, then choose Accessories ..After that click on Backup

Step 1

To enable circular logging go to Exchange System Manager and then expand your server. Right click on your Storage group and then select Properties.

Another new window will appear as shown below. To enable circular login, just check on Enable Circular logging.

Circular logging is a method of updating exchange database by writing contents on a log first before updating it to database. Logs files that are full are then written on to the next log file. This will follow a circular fashion whereby the first log file will eventually be written when the rest log is full.
