How to set up Outlook client to receive email message from Exchange



Step 1

To setup Microsoft Outlook as the mail client, go to Microsoft Outlook

Step 2

Go to Tools and choose Accounts

Step 3

Then another window will appear. Then click on Add and choose on Mail



Then another window will appear

Step 4

Enter the name Justine and click on Next to continue.

Step 5

In the email address enter the name Justine@domain.compact.com

Then click on Next to continue.

Step 6

In the Incoming mail and outgoing mail enter Compact. Compact is the name of our server. Click on Next to continue.

Step 8

Provide the password for the user and click Next to continue.

Step 9

Choose the option Connect using my local area network (LAN) and click on Next to continue.

Step 10

Click on Finish when done.

Using this approach user will only be able to access mail and reply them but not able to access public folders in Excchange.
